Completion of Bday Stages :P Monday, November 13, 2006 Today was one hectic day man.Couldn't get up this morning, so I was late for cath class - i only arrived 15mins before it ended la, lol. It was the last session too, kekez :P Decided not to continue teaching k2s.. it has been fun, but I don't think I'll be able to commit. Yep.. will miss the kiddos though. After which, I went home, changed and left to meet the Ij gals at Marina Bay. Came about 15mins earlier and witness all of them with loads for barang, hwahahaha!! :P I felt extremely curious, especially since HL, Syl & Ali wore shorts.. was wondering wth they were up too, rofl. We took a bus and headed to the steamboat places. All of them were closed. We took a table and starting opening all their bags. WOW!!! :D Syl brought home-cooked mee goreng, Ser cooked fried rice (yes! by herself! :P), HL presented a box of fried chicken (Not cooked by herself :P) and Ali unveiled a box of salad! With 2 bottles of juices, the whole table turned into a great feast :D I ate happily, despite still being rather full from last night's dinner, kekez... After finishing, Ali and Syl went to the toilet. The 3 of us chatted.. then I started wondering wth the two of them were doing taking so long - they can't love the toilent THAT much ;P When they finally came back, Syl had something (obviously, i might add :P) behind her back. It was a super huge funky card!!! :D There were 9 squares - 5 boards, 4 transparencies - and they linked it altogether with rings! Super creative la!!! Sorry, I can't distinguish artwork very well - art happens to be the least of my forte :P Love it man.. Then they brought out a Roxy box and went "oh Sarah, we bought u a bikini!" My gosh.. they had me fooled for a moment. It was a extremely pretty Teal Leather Roxy Wallet. Omg... WOW. It's super gorgeous la.. and what I just happened to need, kekez. Lovin' it ;) Then came the commencement of Bday Stages :P Stage 1:After lunch, we headed to the field. Yes, a green wide plain of grass, not a turf of weeds. Ali fished out 5 kites. Yep.. we went kite-flying :) 3 diamond-shaped, 2 butterflies. I got the butterfly by default, lol. Omg.. kite-flying looks SO MUCH easier than it REALLY IS. Bloody hell la.. our kites were the biggest and most elaborate, but we were also so blatantly AMATEURS :P Ali and Ser got their kites soaring, Syl got hers flying and basically, HL and I were fighting with our butterflies, haha. It's so deceiving la.. mine would initially float and fly quite nicely before suddenly deciding it wanted to be a bungee diver instead, making a head-dive for the ground. I must say though.. considering I have never flown a kite before, I found the whole experience quite interesting, lol :P Maybe on a day where it's less hot and more windy.. i might have perservered a bit longer ;) Haha, I like to say that at this stage, slip-ups were made. I found it super humourous, hwahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!! :D U go gals!!! Stage 2:We took a train to Dhoby Ghaut. After they changed in The Cathay, I found we were walking and heading to Dad's old office! Taking the lift, we suddenly came to this place which initially looked like a sleazy bar *faints* :P Turns out it was a Karaoke lounge! And supposedly non-smoking too, hwahahahaha :D It was damn fun la! We were singing then later singing & fooling abt, heh heh! Great fun :D If i rmb correctly, it seems like our 1st time singing Ktv. *shrugs* correct me if i'm wrong folks! :P Stage 3:Haha, this is damn funny. Stage 3 = dinner. Anywhere :P We decided to go to this little restaurant nearby called Sultana something. It does kebarbs and doner.. and it rocks the world :) My gosh.. i'm gonna go there again for sure ;) This stage too!!! boo boos, tsk tsk tsk :P Stage 4:After dinner, we crossed the road, went to some street and up the stairs. They brought me to the Minds Cafe! :D I've heard of it, but i've nv actually been there, so it was quite an eye-opener! :) After ordering drinks and snacks, we hit the board game Cluedo. I realised I had forgotten how to play, hwahahahaha!!! :D After the nice waitress taught us, we soon were on our way! It's damn fun la!!! Definitely a mind tweaker, it was quite funny to see us make so many blunders, heh heh! Esp. Ali man.. could have won! *pats back* ;) Completion! :D All in all, today was a super fun-packed day!!! Wow.. I didn't expect to go to so many places la, hwahahahahaha!!! :D Certainly a good work-out.. ate so much good food, so i guess i still have to hit the gym, but still a workout! :P Today was super enlightening - enjoyed myself tremedously :D Thanks gals for putting this together for me!!! 'Twas really sweet of ya.. Real gan dong :D Love ya all!!! *BIG HUGZ* :D :D :D :D (a smile for each of yooooo!!!) Haha, I don't feel like doing HW anymore.. Tmr's another day ;) Well, here I am.. officially 19 [ I've joined the group of the oldest teenagers in the world! *gasp* :P] I don't feel wiser, I don't feel smarter.. or more mature.. or more 'blossomed'.. but one thing I do know for sure is... I do feel really loved :) Speaking of hugs.. I love the 'Free Hugs' video on HL's blog. It was super nice.. I found it very touching. Perhaps.. we shld start one in S'pore :P After all, a hug never hurt anyone ;) Spread the love folks =) *hugs* Thanks to all.. for making my day special :) | |
