Hunting Mozzie! Wednesday, April 18, 2007 Pluggin' into: This Aint' A Scene, It's an Arms Race by Fall Out Boy Yesterday, I had the most terrible cramps I ever had in my life. Man.. it caused me to puke my lunch. I rested, took some panadol, had the hot water bottle, puked more and in the end, fell asleep. I seriously thought I was gonna faint. Now I'm better.. just feeling a bit sore and drinking hot water. Today was a happy day. I got out, feeling so much better. I went with my parents to eat breakfast. SERANGOON GARDEN MARKET IS OPENED TODAY!!! :D Rejoice!!! WOO HOO!!! :) We ate kway chap.. shiok. The renovations was quite pathetic though. Dunno what the hell they did. It's ok - my Jiao Zhi man, my Hokkien Mee (Auntie Mary!), my kway chap, my teh peng uncle and his son, my hor fun auntie and everyone ARE BACK!!! :D :D :D YAYNESS!!! In the afternoon, Dad sent me to work. NUS is empty outside, but Central library is grossly crowded. I met Char to discuss Sociology of Deviance. Though we both have to brush up a bit more, I think we're quite ok. Suddenly, these 2 people appeared. It was Vincent and Howie! :) Turns out Vinc was studying in library and Howie came to listen to NUS talks. It was good to see them :D After which, Vinc went back to study and the 3 of us chatted for a while. We then went to collect my Methods of Social Research paper. I couldn't believe it. 1) I didn't get a C. 2) My dream came true. I got a B. Praise the Lord! I think I have to go and thank my tutor, lol :P Char and I then headed to town for lunch. We ate swensen's - shiok. Good hot baked rice. Plus, I got my peanut buttercup (with hot water next to me too, lol.) We then went shopping. Today was a most fruitful shopping experience for both of us, lol! :D YAYNESS :D :D :D I realised I need quite a lot of things. 1) A new bag. My good old deuter's strap is ripping. 2) A jacket. A proper one that looks good. 3) A handbag. 4) A poncho (those cloth ones, not canvas!) 5) A pair of bronze slippers - cos mum complains of my nice purple flipflops, haiz. 6) A new pair of jeans 7) More clothes. I caught a bit of Brother Bear 2. The plot was cliche, the story was simple, the ending so predictable.. but I really liked it. I think I'll go look for the DVD. BE A BEAR!!! :D I love Disney movies. During dinner, I was bitten by a mosquito. Kena 3 bites. I felt quite fed-up, so I went to my room. The stupid mosquito followed me in! My gosh.. I went out to take the spray and tried looking for it. Suddenly, it was right in front of me! Bloody hell.. I sprayed my whole room, left the lights on and went to watch a bit of tv. As I watched some cartoons.. guess what. That mosquito was hunting me down. I was so infuriated. In the end, old-school worked best. I smacked it with my hands. TAKE THAT, YOU MOZZIE!!! BWAHAHAAHAHHAHAHAHAAA!!! :D I feel so much better now P :) By e way, in all the excitement, I left my wallet and umbrella with Char, lol. She has my POTO ticket, haiz.
