Little Red Flowers.
Pluggin' into: I'm Yours by The Script

Omg. I'm in love with The Script. Thanks wing!!! :) :) :)

I'm so distracted. I've got test on Fri and Sat, but I'm so unfocused. After all, I'm blogging! HAHA. Sigh a sigh.

Happy 21st birthday Meryl!!! :)
Thanks for having us over - your home and mee siam and kueh pie tee rocks!! :D

Today's homily was quite funny. Father talked about how we have to be more intentional, rather than work on routine. You know how in mass, the priest goes "the Lord be with you", and the congregation replies "and also with you"? He then told us a joke, about how one day, this priest was saying mass, during which the microphone broke,

Priest: "There's something wrong with this mic."
People: "And also with you!"

HAHA :P

I'm watching this art central show now. Little Red Flowers. I think it's about small children and kindergarten school in China. Man.. it does say something about education. My word. Thanks liv :)

http://artscentral.mediacorptv.sg/WhatShowing/Sunday/index.htm

"Qiang is a four-year-old little rebel, possessed of a pair of luminous eyes and a precociously indomitable will. His father deposits him at a well-appointed residential kindergarten in post-1949 Beijing, since his parents are often away. Life at the kindergarten appears rich and colourful, made up of a variety of cheerfully sunny rituals and games meant to train these children to be good members of society. But it's not so easy for Qiang to adapt to this kind of carefully organized, minutely scrutinized collective life. A fierce individualist in miniature, he tries but fails to conform to the model his teachers enforce. Yet he still craves the reward that the other students win: the little red flowers awarded each day as tokens for good behaviour."

Argh. Readings are draining my energy. Noooooo...

This was today's responsarial psalm. I thought it was quite thought-provoking. Psalm 25 (or 24?). Remember your mercy Lord.

Teach Me Your Paths

[1] Of David.

25:1 To you, O Lord, I lift up my soul.
2 O my God, in you I trust;
let me not be put to shame;
let not my enemies exult over me.
3 Indeed, none who wait for you shall be put to shame;
they shall be ashamed who are wantonly treacherous.

4 Make me to know your ways, O Lord;
teach me your paths.
5 Lead me in your truth and teach me,
for you are the God of my salvation;
for you I wait all the day long.

6 Remember your mercy, O Lord, and your steadfast love,
for they have been from of old.
7 Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions;
according to your steadfast love remember me,
for the sake of your goodness, O Lord!
