Fatigue = Mix up Thursday, October 15, 2009 Fatigue = Mix-up I've been thinking of today this entire week. Thurs was this career talk, where all the government bodies will come and give speeches and information about their ministries. In an effort to consider my future, I signed up for about 5 talks. They came back to me, telling me I have to be in strict business wear. On top of the fact thurs's my free day, I was not too happy about this. Nonetheless, with some chiding from Mum, I went. So this morning, I wore my business wear for the first time ever in my life (yes i know.. let's say, i've been blessed). Upon entering school, I realised not many people were in business wear. It struck me as odd, but I brushed it aside. I entered the Guild House, and somehow found it amusing that the security guard opened the door at me and nodded with a smile. Maybe she thought I was working there. I charged up to the 2nd floor, to find the room empty. Confused, I asked someone where the career talk was. Downstairs, she said. I went back down, and looked in. It looked too small for some reason, and people weren't dressed that much. I decided to ask reception. The guy took his clipboard, and shook his head. "Don't have.. only Emerson today. Maybe you check?" Check I did. I walked to AS7 (the next building) to use the computer in the labs. The business wear wasn't helping - I was sweating like crazy. I logged on to my email, and began scanning them. The talk was LAST THURSDAY (8 Oct) -_- GAH. The only consolation was I brought my slippers. With that..
